Here are a few quick points to help you identify and secure authentic branded goods and services:
- LOOK for a trade mark or trade logo usually accompanied by a symbol ™ or ® predominantly displayed on the goods or packaging materials
- LOOK at the price and if it is too good to be true, it is very likely an imitator of the real thing, so beware!
- LOOK at the source of supply and never be shy to ask questions, as a legitimate seller of authentic branded merchandise would only be too happy to provide you proof of the manufacturer or seller warranty.
Brand Identification & Brand Packaging
With the advent of AI technology, it is confusing and oftentimes misleading when discerning authentic information from hearsays or paid advertisements overloaded on the countless social media platforms.
The immediate form of brand identification can usually be found in product labels or swing tags affixed to the goods and services, which usually display the contacts of a brand manufacturer or licensed distributor.
